In between Ranni's Rise and Renna's Rise, you'll see a ruined building and a set of stairs that go down hidden by an illusory floor. Look around and find the illusory wall in the area. Different spells and abilities have different FP costs, as do spirits - as weaker spirits may cost much less than a single powerful one. With spells and skills, they'll have a fixed cost - but many of them can be charged for greater effect. Even when charged to their full potential, they still cost the same amount of FP, so always charge for maximum firepower and potential whenever you have the extra second to spare.
