EquiGroomer 5 Inch – Great for Dogs and Cats (5 Inches, approx. 12.7 cm)
About this deal
Place them inside – with their hutch or cage – in a protected area, preferably on hard surfaces that are easier to clean. Cooler garages and basements are also good. Many K9 guardians are grooming their own dogs because of the coronavirus shutdown. So EquiGroomer wants to help make your dog grooming smarter, not harder when it comes to carding or hand-stripping your dog. Jaleesa, that’s the trade off when using a brush with very short teeth. They don’t hold the fur, but they won’t scratch or irritate your cat’s skin or tug and pull on your cat’s coat like long toothed combs and brushes can. Nevertheless, we’re delighted that your cat enjoys the experience!
DO use lots of patience, time AND confidence when grooming your dog! Dogs take their cues from us when it comes to them feeling comfortable and relaxed. Run the AC for cooler temperatures. Fans may not always be enough to cool things down (including your rabbit) in extremely hot weather. If you are a horse owner, you have probably had (many) conversations about proper bathing for your horse and with each question comes a variety of – even conflicting – answers. Is bathing good for their skin or does it dry it out? Should you use warm or cold water when bathing in the summer heat? When is regular bathing too much?
Grooming your horse regularly will help reduce the need for frequent bathing. Also, spot cleaning (especially in the presence of infections like rain scald/rot or scratches), shampoo-less rinses and even just clear, clean water can be done more frequently with fewer negative side effects. To buy an Equigroomer and have it shipped all the way to central Europe was absolutely worth it! It was my last attempt in finding a deshedding tool for my cats, that they tolerate. And they not only tolerate but love it! Even Missy, my noble cat lady, is so relaxed, she can’t even keep her eyes open when I’m using it on her. What’s more, it really does work in pulling out so much of the dead hair, I actually see the difference on my furniture.Thank You!
Not all dogs need to be hand-stripped, it is more about the type of coat than about the dog’s breed. Also, some coats will require just seasonal stripping, while others will need to be stripped more frequently. Thank you Bobbie! The EquiGroomer is ideal for short-haired breeds like Great Danes. Because the teeth are so tiny, they never drag on the skin so grooming your dogs becomes a pleasure, both for you and for them. An amazing experience with this tool. My cat is a medium/long-hair rescue and extremely averse to any grooming tools. With the Equigroomer, she’ll snuggle up and purr while I brush her. My only problem is it’s hard to get her other side, because half the time she’s asleep by the time I’m done the first side!Hi there. I am sincerely super impressed with the EquiGroomer after watching YouTube videos of an inspiring pet groomer ‘Girl with the dogs’. Not a professional pet groomer myself, just a pet owner that loves seeing animals lovingly cared for. But my question is this – Is it best to use the EquiGroomer on dry coat, a semi dry coat, towel dried / squeegee’d coat? Thank you kindly for your consideration. Kathy, that’s what the EquiGroomer products are all about! We designed them so they’d not only work well but also be something you and your pets would look forward to using. I’m so glad it worked so well for you. The blade is designed to be safe no matter how much or how often you use it. It simply will not damage the topcoat or remove any healthy hair. Regular use will result in a coat that’s shiny, smooth and soft!
