About this deal
It wouldn't be that easy. If the collection sells well on Switch, they'd probably port the PSP Stories games, or Chinatown Wars. I've since moved on to GTA III, which I have been enjoying a lot less, mainly because sprinting doesn't even seem possible (?!) and the controls/movements are more tanky. I've only played the opening mission(s) of San Andreas, and it fares a lot better, but I've hardly played that yet. I'm a fan of the series and love open world games on the Switch, but I don't want to play these games on a Nintendo system. It feels wrong to me. I'd rather play the grown up/messed up stuff on the PS5/ PC.
They're definitely in a playable state now and I can recommend to anyone interested. Albeit with the understanding they should have been even better. This trilogy has 3 games. It will probably be a digital only title considering most of Take Two games are space taking in general.
Rumours have been swirling for quite some time regarding a potential remaster for Red Dead Redemption. The game originally launched over twelve years ago on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and followed the exploits of ex-outlaw John Marston as he hunts down his former gang members. The sequel, launched in 2018, showcased John's gang during its glory years and ties closely into the events of the first game. As such, fans have been clamouring for a rerelease of Red Dead Redemption to bring it more in line with modern gameplay and visuals. A producer friend has been keeping me updated on their tests in getting V onto Switch but his details slowed down last year. And it’s not an online person either, it’s an IRL chap who moved to the UK from SA. when I was being introduced the introducer said “he sounds posh but don’t worry he isn’t” ha ha.Just grabbed the HD rendered original PS2 release of Vice City off the PS4 store, just in case they screw this up. Delisting is supposed to be this week, so these could go at any time.
