When buying light up wheels for your skates, you should look for how fast the lights come on and how long they continue to glow. Not all wheels light up instantly. Some wheels require faster speed to light up. Before installing, connect the LED strip, music box, & power bank to make sure everything works. Do this for both sets of strip/box/power. Test the remote(s). (You will need to install a CR2032 coin battery in each remote). For starters, as was mentioned earlier, they are durable, so you don’t need to worry that they will break suddenly when your child is using them. Secondly, it has both good urethane wheels and a very helpful heel stop, both of which make it easier for your child to navigate difficult terrain without falling.

Bearings made of ceramic and titanium work best with friction and don’t expand with heat. This makes them best for professionals, as they also don’t require much lubrication. Steel bearings are resistant to wear, but they need more lubrication. Wheel Materials

Remember to recharge both power banks after skating. I keep a “charging station” hooked up all the time, with the dual-output power adapter & 2 micro-USB cables. It’s ready to use when you get home from skating. Just plug them both up overnight. If you don’t care about being sound/music-reactive, the controller+remote+strip sets are smaller and you don’t have to find a place to mount the music (mic) box. The Zebra skates above have this type of controller setup. But, they don’t have as many different colors and light patterns as the music-reactive version.I couldnt fit the bearings in the wheel because the hole is too small for anything to fit in. We had to buy new ones but other than that they look great can't wait to use them x
