About this deal
Brilliant author who can spin a really enthralling story line. Can't wait to read the rest of this series. Enquiry lines cross and merge as Ryan is forced to face his own demons and enter into a deadly game of cat and mouse with a killer who seems unstoppable. This is my second L J Ross book and I love the series. I found the first one, Holy Island, through the Kindle Owners' Lending Library and loved it. Imagine my delight when I realised I could borrow the second instalment for free from the Library as well.
We welcome thousands of people each year who look forward to seeing the famous tree. A very sad day.” In a statement, Northumberland national park authority said it “can confirm that sadly, the famous tree at Sycamore Gap has come down overnight. We have reason to believe it has been deliberately felled. We are working with the relevant agencies and partners with an interest in this iconic north-east landmark and will issue more details once they are known. Six months after the incident at Holy Island, Ryan is on the job. A body is discovered inside Hadrian's Wall, and before long, a connection to Ryan's past cases is evident, and Ryan has to connect the dots before people he loves get hurt.
